The school is located in the centre of the Wynyard township at the foot of Table Cape.  It is next to St Brigid's Church and close to sports grounds.  It has ample space and fully fenced playground facilities catering for students from Kindergarten to Grade Six.

Children are taught a varied and challenging curriculum. The extensive special education program includes literacy and numeracy intervention as well as extension programs.   There is a new library, new classrooms and upgraded playground facilities.

A camp program for Grades 3 - 6 and day excursions for all classes are included throughout the year.  Computer-based learning programs are used in all classes.   Students are offered a wide range of sporting opportunities, including PE, netball, hockey, basketball, football, soccer, tennis, athletics, active after school community program and futsal.

Outstanding community facilities are available for school use.  Private and group music tuition is available.  St Brigid's School is proud to have a vibrant Parents and Friends body active in community fundraising .  This group adds richness to many educational programs through direct participation at home and at school.
