Church Find welcomes Santa Maria College in Attadale, who engaged in a revitalisation journey enriching the community, for all their latest times and information including times.
Nestled in picturesque gardens overlooking the Swan River, in Perth, Western Australia, Santa Maria College was founded in 1938 by the Sisters of Mercy as a Catholic secondary College for girls. The College is still owned by the Sisters of Mercy, however in March 2005 the ascendancy of the College passed to the Mercy Board of Governance. Santa Maria now has a defined management structure with a lay principal and 180 staff committed to high quality education for an enrolment of 1180 students that includes 152 boarders.
Santa Maria College offers a unique educational experience that combines academic excellence with the five values of Mercy, Compassion, Justice, Service and Excellence, as codified in the College Mission & Belief Statement and integral to every aspect of College life.
The College Community works in close unity to foster the spiritual, intellectual, emotional, physical, social and cultural development of our students, challenging them to affirm their identity and potential as women and to appreciate their expanding roles in modern society, with a strong emphasis on encouraging independence and lifelong learning. Students are further encouraged to be Christian leaders in our society, based on a commitment to human dignity, justice and peace.
To be a Santa Maria girl, is to exude confidence, integrity and leadership.
