The school is located in the southern suburb of Willetton which is approximately 20 minutes from the centre of Perth.

Orana is an aboriginal word meaning 'welcome' which certainly describes the school's philosophy of embracing its diverse cultural composition. Orana offers a catholic education from Pre-Kindergarten to Year Six. There are two sessions of Pre-Kindergarten per week. Our parish is the Sts John & Paul Parish, Willetton.

The Principal of the school is Mr David Barns. Under Mr Barn's direction the school has become a leader in ICT integration within the curriculum, established an Out of School Hours Care Centre and undergone major renovations and modernisation in recent years. Mr Barns is the immediate Past President of the Catholic Primary Principals' Association of Western Australia. This puts him in the forefront of all educational matters concerning primary schools in this state and nationally.
